Overview

Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria, located at the geographic midpoint of the country within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). As the seat of the Federal Government of Nigeria, it hosts key national institutions, landmarks, and buildings spread across its over 50 districts. The city's geography is defined by Aso Rock, a 400-metre monolith left by water erosion, and Zuma Rock, a 725 metres monolith, lies just north of the city. Abuja has become a hub for politics, economy, and culture in Nigeria, with a diverse population and a wide range of attractions, including the National Assembly, Supreme Court, and the Presidential Complex. The city's strategic location has made it an important center for international organizations, such as the United Nations and the African Union.
